Established in 1814, Troy Township is a thriving community in southern and western Richland County, Ohio. Covering 22.3 square miles, it includes the Village of Lexington and is home to approximately 7,000 residents.
The township maintains 30 miles of roads and provides essential services, including a part-time Fire and EMS department. It is also home to the Lexington-Troy Township Union Cemetery, which serves the local community.
